Pace Uni Students Visit Peace Boat US

Pace Uni StudentsA group of students from Pace University who are participating in the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the United Nations conference visited the Peace Boat US office earlier this week to learn about Peace Boat, its work with the UN, and its upcoming Sailing for Sustainability program. Most of the students are interested in working at NGOs or at the United Nations in the future, and Peace Boat US is pleased to be able to encourage their pursuits.

  1. Skype has opened up its internet-based consumer beta for the world, following establishing it extensively
    within the U.S. and U.K. earlier this four
    weeks. Skype for Internet also now facilitates Chromebook and Linux for immediate messaging
    interaction (no video and voice yet, those call for a plug-in installing).

    The expansion from the beta brings assistance for an extended listing of languages
    to aid reinforce that international user friendliness
