Program fee: JPY 267,300
Fee includes program and tuition, including three exposure programs, and accommodation and food throughout the program onboard Peace Boat.
*Separate charges will be incurred as follows: JPY 5,500 for onboard tips and 5,400 yen for port charges.
*Transportation (e.g. flights) to Tokyo and from Singapore are not included in above fee.
*Participants are responsible for obtaining visas to Japan, Taiwan, and/or Singapore if necessary.
Thirty (30) participants of any nationality, between the age of 18 and 35. Ideal candidates will have strong interest in disarmament, international relations, and/or peace, humanitarian and development studies. People already practicing in the field or with prior experiences of initiatives linked to these themes are most encouraged to apply. Adequate command of English, sufficient to understand lectures and participate in discussions, is a minimum requirement. The selection committee will evaluate the application materials based on the “eligibility” to be laid out in the call for participants. Skype/phone interviews may be conducted.
