In coordination with Peace Boat, the International Center at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, the Departments of Peace Conflict Studies and International Global Studies, and the Lloyd International Honors College we are hosting guest speaker, Ms. Junko Watanabe, an atomic bomb survivor from Hiroshima to share her testimony. Join us on April 14th for a virtual session about nuclear weapons, disarmament, and human rights.

Ms. Junko Watanabe will recount her personal experience living in Hiroshima and discuss her involvement in disarmament through Pele Paz in Brazil and Peace Boat.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session where audience members will have the opportunity to ask Ms. Junko Watanabe about her experience.
